In dire need of a quest

In a world where millions of people are warriors of light, set on a path to great adventures, darkness still reigns. So let's pay homage to the regular people trying to make a living in this MMO-esque fantasy world.

This work was done in a week for the sidekickJam on itch.io.
However a build issue at the very end prevented us from posting our game on time...
Yet, we decided to release it to share what we did now that the build issue has been fixed.

The Game

You are a simple shopkeeper that joined the Questgivers, an nationwide organization whose sole purpose is to protect the world from evil by giving the dirty work to the predisposed authorities. Everyday you'll give quests for up to 4 heroes, that hopefully will fit their skills to get as much reputation as possible. Quests will make your resources change overtime, each one having an individual cost as well as a payback once the quest is done. Your goal is to balance out your daily costs as well as your quests outputs and inputs to never reach 0 in any of them. the more reputation you have, the better the quests will be, until you can give out the final quest, the quest to save us all!

`D` - Go Right

`E` - Interact

`Left Mouse Click` - Select the quests to give out
